Shox R4

Some sneakers are loud with the early 2000s energy, and the Shox R4 is one of them.

Originally introduced in 2001, the silhouette quickly stood out thanks to its futuristic design and those unmistakable Shox columns in the heel. This recrafted version stays true to the original blueprint, bringing back the sleek paneling, laser perforations, and performance-inspired look that made the R4 such a standout.

Up top, the synthetic and textile upper keeps the build lightweight while the perforations add breathability. Down below, the Shox cushioning system does its thing, distributing impact through the signature spring-like columns making them feel stable and responsive.

It’s bold, a little nostalgic, and still one of the most recognizable designs Nike ever put out.
