The upper keeps that familiar look but feels sharper, mixing pigskin suede, mesh, and synthetic layers into a more streamlined shape. It’s still recognisably 991, just cleaner and more modern in execution.
Underfoot is where things really level up. A full-length FuelCell midsole brings a more responsive, energetic ride, while ENCAP support and ABZORB SBS pods keep that balance of comfort and stability the series is known for.
Built in the UK at New Balance’s Flimby factory, it’s a pair that carries both craftsmanship and culture in equal measure.
